Lakeside Children’s Ministries

Lakeside Littles

The Lakeside Littles Sunday School class is our fun and interactive worship experience for 3- to 5-year-old children offered at 9:30 am during our Sunday School hour and then again during our 10:30 am worship service. Children can start the 10:30 am worship in the sanctuary to hear the Children’s Sermon and then they’ll be asked to follow our amazing staff and classroom volunteers into the Lakeside Littles rooms for a faith-filled, fun experience of God’s word from our loving teachers.

Surge Zone

After the Children’s Sermon in our 10:30 am Sunday worship service, Kindergarten through 3rd graders are invited to the Surge Zone classroom for loads of fun! The curriculum for this curious group provides your children with music, a Bible story, and relevant game activities. The kids have a great time and learn a lot about God and God’s love. You will be amazed by how much your kids will want to attend church each Sunday after they’ve entered the SURGE ZONE!

Kidtricity (not currently available yet)

Kidtricity is a Sunday School class at 9:45 am designed specifically for our Kindergarten through 5th graders. The curriculum offers music, games, a Bible story, and crafts while encouraging the development of new friendships and discovering God’s love. This also offers a great chance for parents to attend a Sunday School class at the same time to further grow their walk in faith while being assured that their children are growing in theirs. Kidtricity: Kids + Electricity = Always a Fun Time!

Tween Class

The Tween Class is our very dynamic Children’s Church class offered each Sunday after the Children’s Sermon in our late (10:30 am) worship service that is designed for children in 4th and 5th grades. This fun and interactive class has an age-specific curriculum that generates excitement while learning and growing together in their walk with Jesus.

Acolyte Team

Acolytes are a very important part of worship at Lakeside!  Our acolyte team consists of 3rd-5th grade students.  They enter a training course, which is offered several times a year for incoming acolytes.

BL45T

Our BL45T team is a group of 4th & 5th graders who venture out several times a year for our Serve, Eat, Play events.  They get the opportunity as a group to attend some type of active service project, then they head off for some fun and food!  This group of children are forming bonds that will carry them through their youth group experiences, later in their lives.
