Our Story
We have been invited to a Black History event in our area focused on our local community. Hosted by Kingwood Christian Church in partnership with Strawbridge United Methodist Church and The Luke Church, this community event will feature Dr. Robert Meaux offering a historical look at Bordersville and Humble. Pastors will offer a short reflection and invitation to ministry after the presentation. Dinner will be provided for all, please RSVP. |

Summerwood ElementaryServe in School We are looking for at least 5 people who can give one hour a week to serve Summerwood Elementary in a mentoring program. Students who get to spend a consistent one hour a week in a mentoring relationship:
In addition to the life change for a student, mentors also report they experience a strengthening of their faith and a deeper sense of community engagement.
