There is a scandal in the small coastal town. The fishermen have heard the news, the builders are talking over lunch break, the women whisper in the market. Within the scandal, there is a story of courage and faith, of trusting in God and learning on the fly. Mary knew, and we can learn from the first Christmas story, a powerful message for today. I hope to see you and learn from Mary this Advent season. 

After Church on December 1, 2024 we will have a brief time of decoration. Stay behind to put the ornaments on the tree, hang the wreaths, and get your heart ready for the Christmast season. 

Read through the Gospel of Luke this December. If you start tomorrow, you can read one chapter a day and end on Christmas Eve. Celebrate the reason for the season with the Gospel of Luke.
