This is a traditional Christmas service filled with beautiful music, the warm glow of candlelight, and a message of hope centered on the love of Christ.
At Lakeside, we believe the church is called to be a home—
a home for the lost and wounded,
for those wondering about God and faith,
and for anyone walking the faith journey alone.
Whether Christmas is joyful, complicated, or somewhere in between, there is a place for you here. Come as you are. Bring your questions, your hopes, and your heart.
On December 18 at 6:00 PM, Lakeside UMC gathered for our Travelers Christmas Service—a meaningful time of worship created especially for those who find the Christmas season complicated, heavy, or quietly painful.
This reflective service offered space for honesty, prayer, gentle music, and the reminder that God meets us on the road, even when the journey feels uncertain. It was a sacred pause in the midst of a busy season, grounding us in hope, grace, and the promise that we do not travel alone.
If you were unable to join us in person—or would like to revisit the service—you are invited to follow the link to our YouTube channel to watch the full service. May it be a source of comfort and encouragement wherever you are on your journey this Christmas.
If you missed our "Cantata" or not sure what that means? December 14, was a time with extra worship song by our worship band. But more than just music the songs are like well preached sermons in sound, they help to illuminate the hope of the manger and the deep longing of our hearts. It was a blast! If you missed it live, watch it on youtube with the link below.
