Lakeside Youth: Advent Decorating & Slick City Trip!
Sunday, November 22, 2026 | After Worship
Get ready for an afternoon of serving, pizza, and fun with Lakeside Youth!
On Sunday, November 22, immediately following worship, our youth will help decorate the Sanctuary for Advent, preparing our church for this special season of hope, peace, joy, and love. It's a wonderful opportunity for our youth to serve the church and help create a beautiful worship space as we prepare to celebrate the coming of Christ!
After decorating, we'll enjoy some pizza together before heading over to Slick City in Humble for an afternoon of slides, laughter, and fun!
Here's the plan:
After Worship: Help decorate the Sanctuary for Advent.
Pizza Lunch: Enjoy pizza together at the church before heading out.
1:00 PM: Parents meeting us at Slick City should drop off their students at the front entrance.
1:00–2:30 PM: Enjoy an afternoon of fun at Slick City!
2:30–3:00 PM: Parent pickup at Slick City.
Slick City Humble
20424 US-59, Suite 20424
Humble, TX 77338
Cost: $20 per student (with at least 15 participants)
If we have 15 or more students, we can receive a group discount that brings the cost to just $20 per student! To take advantage of this discount, please make your payment directly to Lakeside UMC rather than paying at Slick City.
We encourage everyone to sign up so we can reach the 15-student minimum and make this a fun, affordable outing for all!
This is a great chance for our youth to give back to their church family and then enjoy time together building friendships and making memories.
We hope all our youth will join us on Sunday, November 22! Invite a friend, bring your energy, and let's kick off the Advent season together!
