Everyone is invited to the annual Church Conference on October 8 @ 3pm in the sanctuary. This annual meeting is to provide information, affirm our mission, and for members to vote on church business. No registration is required. 

Renovo Spiritual Life Inventory: We have one extra week to take the Renovo Spiritual Life Inventory as aa congregation. October 2, 2023 is the last day. If you have not yet done it, PLEASE take the survey. It is 20-25 minutes. BUT if you need to take a break you can, as long as you leave your browser page open.

The inventory enables church leaders to track over time the movement of their congregation toward Christ, to see if ministry efforts and resource allocations are really elevating the spiritual health of people in the church.

You can take it on your phone but computer is easiest. If you need a paper version please let me know. 

We hope will you join in welcoming our neighbors to the Pumpkin Patch this fall. Use the link to sign up for a time slot. We hope you will join in with friends or bring the whole family. 

We are working to get new projectors. This is an extra and expense and we need your help. Please give in abundance to help with the projectors. We are looking at about $5000 for the projectors. Give as you are able.

Come hangout with Lakeside men and play a round of golf on a 9-hole par 3 course overlooking  Buffalo Bayou. Tee times with groups of 4 at a cost of $45 per person. Tee times between 7:15-7 :45. Sign up for our annual Trunk or Treat!  A trophy is ALWAYS a draw, right?!  You are welcome to set up your trunk as early as you see fit, but our event will begin at 5:30pm.  Not creative or competitve, don't let that stop you from doing a trunk!  We just want any and all to show up for our church & community!

We would like your input for upcoming Summer Camps for Lakeside children and youth

More small group information will be added soon.

The women's group will meet each Sunday from September 10th through October 15th, 11:45 - 12:45 in the Sanctuary.

Please submit the names of those you would like to honor on All Saints' Day by October 26th to Jennifer at church@thelakesideumc.org.  Each family will light a memory candle in remembrance of those who have passed.

Psalm 100 tells us to Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

If you would like to make a joyful noise for Christmas, get ready for our Christmas Concert on December 10th! Heath is looking for singers and musicians to join in the musical fun. Contact Heath if you would like to offer your gifts to Lakeside this Advent season.
