Hello Church Family,

In the Bible we are reminded that our bodies are living temples of the Spirit of God (1 Corinthians 6:19) and that we are called to glorify God with our whole lives. Well, I invite you to a new thing for Lakeside this year. Lakeside Run and Walk Club.

We will meet up in the church parking lot on May 24, 2025 at 7:00AM for a morning jog or walk. The goal is to meet throughout the year for encouragement and to join a few 5K or 10K races together.  If you would like to join in we will have meet ups and/or races at least one Saturday a month. We will start with a short devotional and group prayer and then find a partner or a group to run or walk with. We will explain the path for that day as well. First meet up is May 24. First race, for me, is June 21, 2025 Miles for Miracles 5K for NICU Families. To register for that event click here.

Calling all Seniors. We want to celebrate you. We hope you will come to Senior Sunday on June 1. We will celebrate you going leaving High School behind and the adventure that awaits you. 

To celebrate we ask that you:

1. Reply to this email and let us know you and your senior are coming. 
2. Send in 10 photos for a slideshow we will have during the worship service.
3. Come on June 1 and let's celebrate. 

Wht aare the basics? What does Lakeside teach about being a Christian? What is a Methodist? And what does this all mean for you? Those are some of the questions we hope to answer at our membership class. Feel free to join this Sunday at 9:30AM.

BIG HOUSE is an acronym which stands for Believing in God Helping Others Understand through Service Everywhere. We are a short term Jr. High and High School mission work camp for students who have completed the 5th-12th grade. We work on homes, churches, soup kitchens, food pantries, etc. This is a great way to begin your students out in the mission field.
