We need you to lend a helping hand. Get in the spirit of the season by helping us hang the Christmas decorations. We will hang them right after the 10:30 worship service on November 26, 2023. But that's not all, we are asking you to bring a pie for the homemade pie contest. A pie contest is a fun way of remembering the joy of community. Stay and decorate and eat some great desserts!!!

Dear Lakeside Family,

The practice of generosity is a faith discipline. It is the mark of a growing faith and deeper walk with Christ. As pastor at Lakeside, I believe that its members are committed to being genuine disciples of Christ. We long for that deeper commitment and the responding growing connection to God. We seek to be fed spiritually and to actively engage the world where its deepest needs meet our abilities, and with God’s help, to a part of true transformation for individuals in our community, and for our own families. Our campaign theme this year “Rooted, Giving, Growing” and it gets to the heart of our longing. God is working through us to do something positive in the world. Every time we give, that gift it becomes ministry and mission. Please keep our congregation in prayer as we move together toward discerning how God may use our gifts in the upcoming year to be a witness of God’s love and power.

We will leave out commitment cards for those who missed completing one. Your giving is vital to the ministry and effectiveness of Lakeside. It allows us to be an open space for our community and to worship together as a church family. Please consider giving regularly and pledging faithfully.
