Texas Congregational Disaster Readiness

Lakeside and the Texas Annual Conference Partners with The Texas Congregational Disaster Readiness. Below are their recommendations on how to help:

We know there are basic needs that are always needed, so we are initiating collections of relief supplies from throughout our region to be shipped to the most needed areas.  As soon as we receive direction from local leaders in Louisiana, we will be ready to ship out.  We have trucks and trailers lined up to transport the items from our local area to their staging locations.

See the PDF attached to this post on how to package and what to collect.

Monetary Donations

We welcome Monetary Contributions and or Gift Cards for national chains such as Walmart, Hope Deport and Lowes. We will make sure these get into the hands of those who need it most. You can make your contributions online at Donate — TexasCDR (txcdr.org)
