Hanging of the Greens
This Sunday, we’ll celebrate the Hanging of the Greens right after the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Everyone is invited to stay and help us decorate the sanctuary and church for the Advent and Christmas season—hanging wreaths, placing greenery, and adding those special touches that make Lakeside feel warm and festive. All ages can help, and no decorating experience is required. Come enjoy fellowship, Christmas music, and the joy of getting our church ready to welcome Christ again! |

Advent StudyThe Redemption of Scrooge - Sunday, November 30, 2025 Is redemption possible for Ebenezer Scrooge? Join us for a four-week Advent study on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM (Nov 30, Dec 7, Dec 14, Dec 21) as we explore The Redemption of Scrooge by Matt Rawle. Using Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol, we’ll journey with Scrooge and the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future to discover what Jesus teaches us about second chances, generosity, and living for others. Chapters include “Bah! Humbug!” “The Remembrance of Christmas Past,” “The Life of Christmas Present,” and “The Hope of Christmas Future.” Come rediscover and reinvigorate your faith this Advent as we look at a familiar classic through the lens of Christ. Join Us in Moving Forward in FaithStewardship Sunday, November 9 As we look toward a new year of ministry at Lakeside, we invite you to join us in moving Forward in Faith by making a pledge for 2026. Your pledge is more than a number on a card—it’s a prayerful commitment that helps our church plan for worship, missions, children and youth ministry, community outreach, and care for one another in Christ’s name. If you haven’t yet turned in your 2026 pledge, please take a moment to do so. You can bring your pledge card to worship, mail it to the church office, or complete it online. Together, as we are faithful in little and faithful in much, we trust that God will continue to lead Lakeside forward in faith into the coming year.
